Traditional village pub dating in parts back to the 17th century and with outdoor architecture from three distinct phases of English history, refurbished in April 2024.

The gardens have been remodelled to create a haven for wildlife with the creation of a wild plant environment and bug hotels to name just two features. The garden has ample space for humans to be seated on its 24 plus bench tables, including under a paved patio and partially covered outdoor area. The remainder of the garden area is grassed.
