This pub can be found on the corner of Kings Quay Street and Castlegate Street. Oldest Harwich pub still trading as a pub. Refurbishment began after purchase at auction in July 2029. The pub re-opened for Harwich Shanty Festival and the following, is expected to re-open temporarily for the Harwich Sausage Festival, but then is likely to remain closed until refurbishment is complete.
